Enormous waste of time and money

We unfortunately chose Northeast Factory Direct to order our cabinets for our kitchen remodel. They came highly recommended, and I have no idea why! I set up an appointment for a consultation and was scheduled with Nicole. The initial appointment was fine with no issue and everything seemed that it would run smoothly. We were reassured that we would be able to order our cabinets and have them delivered within our tight timeframe. We came back a second time to make a few changes to our selection and to pay the deposit and schedule a measurement. Nicole said that they would be able to do our measurement within a few days. After not receiving a call to even schedule the measurement for roughly a week, I emailed Nicole to inquire about the delay and received NO response. We received a phone call a few days later and were scheduled for another week out. Iris came to do our measurement and was pleasant. We explained to her where we needed our cabinetry to end and she claimed to have clearly notated that. Iris said that she would send our measurements to Nicole that day and we would be able to set up our final appointment promptly. Another week passed and we received no phone call so I emailed Nicole. AGAIN, no response for days. I called to try to schedule with her and was told that she was not in, but I would tentatively be put on her schedule for the following day. We came in for our final appointment, and Nicole never mentioned my email, but did casually say how she had misplaced our measurements on her desk. Nicole said that she would be emailing me our updated layout with measurements immediately. Of course, I never received any email! The following day I emailed requesting the measurements and YET AGAIN received no response. Three days later I emailed again and she said that she’d have to pass me off to another colleague. I received no correspondence from any other employee, so I had to call and request that someone help me immediately because I needed the measurements for my granite order. I received an email from Iris with an updated picture, yet no measurements. I emailed her some days later to ask if she was able to track the shipment of our cabinets and she told me that she didn’t know. Well, we received our cabinets today, and due to the overwhelming incompetence of Nicole and Iris, our cabinetry extends 19” past where we requested it to end. We specified on numerous occasions where we needed the cabinets to extend to, but apparently Nicole will receive more commission if she added in some extra cabinets and ruined our plan for our new home. We intended to furnish our house in the furniture department, however I refuse to do business with anyone who permits such poor customer service and major errors to happen. I would have loved to speak to somebody today when I called to rectify the situation, however no one was available and I will just receive a call back “whenever” they are in. I won’t hold my breath!
