My 20 year old furnace failed during the arctic cold blast in February 2023. The house temperature dropped into the 40's and I had to use space heaters to keep it there. Travers from DALCO came out quickly. He diagnosed the problem as a failed fan motor.
The old motor was leaking oil and could only run for 1 minute before grinding to a halt.
He quickly found a replacement motor and installed it the same day. The furnace is now working great. The house temperature is back in the upper 60's and heats up quickly after I let it drop when I am out of the house.
