I just had cataracts in both my eyes taken care of by Dr. Dhaliwal. He did a fabulous job. The two surgeries, two weeks apart, were fast and painless. I was only there for 2 hours total each time, and that included checking in at the front desk, pre-op, the operation, and post-op. The staff at the surgical center that support Dr. Dhaliwal are professional and very kind. They definitely take time to make sure you understand what is happening and what you need to do after going home from surgery. I was able to see fine right after the surgery each time. However, my sight got even better a week after each surgery to the point that I no longer need glasses for distance. And I only had the standard lenses inserted during the surgery. As mentioned by another patient in the testimonials, the worst part is the drops you have to insert in your eyes prior to surgery and for several weeks after surgery, but they are important. You do need to visit the doctor the day after, and also a week after the surgery. However, they get you in/out of his Talcott office very quickly. We’ve never had to wait because they are so efficient. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dhaliwal and his team for any eye related tests, surgeries, or services. I’ve already referred two of my friends to him.
