Rip-off for simple repair/install

Technician was here for barely 30 minutes to fix toilet and install garbage disposal (provided by customer).
Charged $300 - after negotiating down from $360. This is a rip-off; makes the hourly rate about $600, which is outrageous.

Hi Marcie, When you and I spoke about $360.00 cost being to much. I said I could discount $60.00 and you agreed. You also mentioned that that you were short on time and I understand that we were running late, so I asked Don to please do work quickly so you could get on with your day. He not only installed your garbage disposal, he also replaced flapper in toilet of which we supplied and had proper flapper in our truck for you. We drove to your house and then looked at job scope and gave you quote, This time is also part of the job. Don told me that you told him you were very happy with service.
