The Right Path

I requested information online about this school and about 7 minutes later M.W. from the school was calling me to set up a time for me to come in to see them.

I had no experience around large vehicles or driving a stick shift, but that didn’t matter. All of the instructors helped me and made sure the transition was smooth. The recruiters, instructors, and executive assistants all asked repeatedly how I was doing and what they could do extra to help me. When I approached the school with issues I had in my training, they were corrected within the hour, not the next day.

My advice for you:

1. Don’t stress out over the unknowns of the future. This school will give you the training you need and help you every step of the way in your career placement. I met many students here and any time you asked them where they were going they never once said, “I don’t know.” They all had jobs lined up for them upon graduation. I filled out an application to a company a week before I even started the school. Companies want you right now.
2. Listen and ask questions. You’re not here to teach, you’re here to learn. When you are in a truck you can learn just as much observing another student as you can behind the wheel. You will get plenty of drive time doing 65 mph down the highway (not quite so fast in the city)!
3. Pay close attention to the advice instructors give you at all times. They have between 3 to 6 million accident-free miles on the road EACH. They know what it takes to succeed!
4. You will make friends; make sure they are on the right track. If they are from out of town living in a hotel, invite them over for dinner or take them to a hockey game. Class can be stressful at times so make sure everyone is happy by helping them where you can. You are never alone.

Classes start every Monday. You will succeed.
