I received a grant to attend United States Truck Driving School Inc. and did so in Midway Colorado. The instructors were confident in what they do, however; they did not have the time to accommodate my switching from a Class B license to Class A license, even though it was a spur of the moment decision on my part to change classes. I did complete the Class B certification class and recruiters to come to this school looking to hire, which is why I preferred the Class A license certification. The instructors seemed to be a little overwhelmed by the number of students vs. instructor ratio which hampered me somewhat with failing a test and not being able to get the practice needed to retake the testing. On some occasions, the instructors would join you in the truck the first ride and then you were left alone with other students learning things such as backing up etc. The equipment (trucks) seemed to me to be a little rundown and they may need to upgrade to future classes. All in all, it was a good experience, I learned something new and did receive my Class B license and am now able to work for companies such as garbage truck, or a delivery service.
