We were very disappointed with the quality, time and response from Elkstone. Mistakes took place on the contract, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, paint, tile and overall finish. We changed PM's thinking this would correct our issues but didn't see a difference. We engaged the owner, Joe, but still found the quality of work to be sub-par. We contracted at five weeks and it took twelve and we still have warranty issues. We found they sacrificed quality for time, which one of their subs said was an issue. We had to bring in our own tile and paint contractors to fix the errors. All the tile was replaced and the paint was done three times. We have a higher end home and only have regrets using Elkstone. Good written documentation and a good attorney were the two things that saved us.

Wow, a business owner never wants to read about a less than satisfied customer. What I value more than profit is the satisfaction of the families we serve, and my good reputation. We have hundreds of beautifully built basements all over the Denver Metro area with hundreds of satisfied customers. Each professional ElkStone team member that worked on this basement has on average 21 years of experience. I am proud of our team and how we came together to work on this customer's concerns with countless emails, phone calls, repeat trips, and solutions to even the most minor of issues. Thinking back, I don't know what more we could have done.

We are by no means a perfect company, and if there is a problem we will always accept due responsibility and work very hard to make it right. What I will offer is my personal promise that ElkStone gives our clients a new living space with uncompromising craftsmanship and also a pleasant and even fun construction experience. No basement finisher in the Denver area can match our schedule, craftsmanship, integrity, and overall customer satisfaction as illustrated by our other reviews.
