We are so happy with our finished product, it turned out even better than we expected!! Thank you to Jake our, project manager! The resources Elkstone provided were all great recommendations! We were very happy with our initial contact, David, who was very patient with us and helped us determine our floor plan and design, and worked with us through many changes. We felt great about the quality we would receive, but truly felt the 4 week to finish promise was a very valuable piece of the puzzle. With two small kids and still dealing with naps etc., having a crew in our house for three months sounded miserable....so we were really hopeful that the 4 week completion would be true, and unfortunately it was not. Our completion date was 12/7/12, and the final items were completed on 1/24/13. The basement was usable by 12/22..but still had punch list items that took another month to get finished. We understand that "things come up"...and are pretty easy going people, so we know that not everything is going to workout 100 flawlessly..but to miss the finish date by nearly 7 weeks felt a little excessive.

We were late in supplying the shower door, not that it delayed the overall project, but we understand that as the homeowner, some of the responsibility lies on us to provide certain items on the time line. That being said, we were given deadlines to provide certain items, and then those deadlines were not really that accurage. For example, our cabinets, we picked a cabinet solely based on the fact that they would arrive in the time frame..and then they sat in our garage for a full week before they were even touched...so we could've gotten the cabinets we really wanted.

Overall - as we said - we're very happy with the final product and are very happy it's finally finished.
