Ferrari Driving School

Didn’t learn

I was at the Brooklyn facility, with instructor Jabit Alvarez. The five hour class was led by a man named Barry that looked like he should’ve retired years ago. He had some sort of speech impediment that made it difficult to understand a word he said! How is he instructing the class, & we can’t understand him? Then during the class a receptionist was calling us out, about 4-5 ppl at a time, to fill out some paperwork! What!! How are we being taken away from a class when we need to see & hear all of it?!!! Ridiculous, when I questioned it I was told so they would not be rushed at the end of the class with everybody all at once. So for their convenience we are missing information. Not to mention that half the ppl including myself arrived early & we sat around for about 30 minutes. We could’ve filled out the paperwork then. The road test date I was given was 2 months away, when I inquired about an earlier road test date, I was told sure for a fee. Then 2 ppl proceeded to give me 2 different prices!! First of all, how can their only be earlier road test dates only for a fee? Haven’t u taken enuff of my money already??? One person told me $100.00, another told me $160.00....which one is it???!!! Ridiculous! I passed my road test but not thanks to my instructor. My son practiced with me, & I learned more from my son than I did with the instructor! What a waste of money! The instructor was impatient, rude & speaking to me like I’ve been driving for years! Would not recommend Ferrari school, or Mr. Alvarez for an instructor,....unless you are a single Spanish female in your twenties with a nice body!
