Ferrari Driving School

Horrible Experience with Jabit

I was scheduled to do my lesson and road test and I was assigned to Jabit. I had been taking driving lessons with another instructor outside of the school & felt relatively comfortable behind the wheel but during my pre-road test lesson, Jabit slowly but surely tore down my confidence. He asked me about how much time I've done with my instructor and he said "you should be much further along after 8 hours with [instructor]". He said to me "has he not done any highway or large roadways with you?" and before I could answer, he speculated on said instructors employment status with the driving school. He also said to me "you have no driving skill" as I was driving and was taking the wheel...and didn't even pay attention to how he was making me feel. He said to another student that we were picking up "we are going to give her an extra 15-20 minutes of practice because she needs it more than you". He also said to me "are you sure that you don't want to go back to the school and reschedule and do more lessons because I don't want you to fail and have to reschedule"... He spoke very disrespectfully towards me and also spoke poorly of others. He speculated how we all were going to do and basically was treating us as if we all or most of us failed before the test even started! One of the other people was his "student" so he gave him some sort of preference but even then, he was rather rude to him saying "I taught him to drive so he knows how to drive but today he's not driving well, probably because he's nervous" which is not the way to talk up a student, Jabit only referred to me by my name maybe 2-3 times in total when the other students were in the car, it was mostly "she" or "her" where my name could've been used. So by time I got in the car with the inspector, my confidence was dashed. The 3 of us failed, after being spoken to in such a way, it is not a surprise that we did... His conduct was completely unprofessional and inconsiderate nor did he try to rectify it but rather said "if you think I'm bad, there are others worse than me" before going into the test...which also did not help going into the road test. He was extremely disrespectful and should not be teaching people to drive or going with them to their road test if that is the way he is going to treat them. Jabit also had a nasty attitude at times and openly complained about things rather than kept such complaints for his superiors who could've passified him. As a professional in my respective field, I wouldn't have behaved that way in front of my students or fellow professionals, i would've taken it to my supervisors. His actions and words were completely unbecoming of a driving instructor so if you get him, aire on the side of caution or request someone else.
