I would never recommend them.

All American Inspection Services just came out to inspect my new property. I am not happy at all with how things went down. First, they put in their report that there was no termite damage. Yet, I had tons of termites! Then the other factor is the roof. They were all over the roof and yet, they totally missed all of the nails sticking out. How could someone miss that? I had a lot of damage to my roof that was missed by them. All American Inspection Services did very well at communicating their findings with me. It is just that they missed the serious stuff that should have been in their report. I would never recommend them to anyone ever! I would never use them again.

Hello Charles,

I am so sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your home. I am somewhat confused, however because I told you about the areas of termite damage, wood rot, and roof issues at the time of the inspection because you were present. Below are some of the exact comments that are in the inspection report.

Roof section

2.0 The roof appears to be in below average condition.

2.1.2 There are areas of excessive wood rot visible inside the attic along the front eave and roof decking. The roof above this area also has areas of deflections because of the wood rot. This appears to be caused from the low pitch at the roof above this area.

Above are 2 of the 14 comments about the roof that were in the inspection report with a recommendation for a further evaluation by a licensed roofing contractor for correcting.

Structure section

6.1 There appears to be termite damage at the base of the gable at the west side of the attic at one area. See the WDO report for more information.

The WDO (wood destroying organism) report shows the scattered areas of termite damage and wood rot inside the attic and around the perimeter of the home.

Because of the termite damage, I also recommended a further evaluation by a licensed professional in order to determine the extent of the damage and potential repair cost.

I also recommend that you thoroughly review your report (which was 55 pages long) and if there were any questions or concerns I am always available.

I also called you after I received this review and left a message and have not heard back from you yet.

From your comments in this review, I am not sure if you thoroughly read your report.

Respectfully,

John Mock
Chief Inspector
