Called and a service worker, Roger Kendrick, was sent out the same day to inspect why no water was flowing to the house. He walked down to the end of the driveway with my fiancé and lifted the lid off of the water meter. It was filled with muddy water. He reached in and immediately said he felt the hole in the GALVANIZED STEEL PIPE. He stated that the damage was on the homeowners side therefore the county would not be responsible for the repair. He got out a measuring tool and walked from the road to the house and then gave a quote of $4500.00 to excavate and replace the entire pipe. He requested a service fee of $45.00 and after the check was written asked for an additional $3.15 for tax. To our amazement a family friend came by to take a look and was able to make the repair for so little money he didn't even want any payment at all. We gave him $100.00 anyway. Now, that is what I call an honest man. THINK TWICE OR EVEN MORE BEFIORE YOU CALL THESE PEOPLE.
If my service fee isn't returned I'm taking them to small claims court.
