Last week I made an appointment for Thursday August 16th with Pro Plumbing Heating and Air for a water heater install and bathroom sink repair. The appointment was for 6:00pm, at 6:30pm I received a call letting me know that they needed to reschedule. I understood, things happen, so we rescheduled for Saturday morning at 11:00am. At 11:30am Saturday I had to call and ask when the technician would arrive. The representative tells me that they had an emergency first thing that morning at another location and because he was the only technician working that day, he had to take the call. She called the technician and called me back to reschedule for 3:00pm that same afternoon. At 3:30pm I called back because the technician still had not arrived. The representative then tells me it’s going to be closer to 6:00pm. Since it was Saturday night and I had waited around all day, I told her that would not work for me because I had plans. So we ended up having to reschedule again for Tuesday at 5:30pm. I left work early on Tuesday in order to get home on time, as I’m driving home I get a call that the technician is “tied up” at his prior job and they need to reschedule. At this point I say absolutely not he needs to come tonight. She says she will let him know and call me back... at 7:30 she calls me back to let me know he just finished up and they only work until 8:00! Obviously I’m livid but have no choice but to reschedule for Wednesday at 5:30pm!! I leave work early AGAIN Wednesday and at 6:00pm STILL NOTHING! I call and I am put on hold for the lady to come back and tell me he will arrive at my home around 7:00/7:15

This behavior and run-around really shocked me because I chose this company based on the fantastic reviews they have received on Google and Home Advisor. I am remodeling a home and needed the repairs done correctly and efficiently, so I hired what I thought would be the best. Instead I was constantly inconvenienced and reschedule on about 5 different times.

When my technician finally arrived, I will say he was very professional and polite. I was shocked they only knocked $50 off of my bill for my multiple inconveniences. All I needed done was updating old piping from the wall to a sink in my bathroom, and my new water heater installed. He told me it would be $1,200... Mind you I purchased the water heater beforehand, so the actual water heater is NOT included in that price, and all of my plumbing and electrical was up to date so it was literally just taking the old one out and putting the new one in. Not to mention my water heater is in a wide open basement, very accessible.
I didn’t want to pay them that because of my troubles, but because I need it done by next month I reluctantly went ahead with the work.
The technician finished in two hours and I was just glad to have these troubles behind me... until the next day. I start to go downstairs the next night to do a load of laundry and I notice my light isn’t turning on. I walk downstairs to turn on the pull-chain light so I can see what the issue is, and I STEP ON SHATTERED GLASS! The technician broke the lightbulb the night before and did not even tell me! Regardless of me stepping on it, WHY would you not tell me you broke it!? I could see he made an attempt to clean it up, but obviously he didn't get it all! I had to pick pieces of glass out of my bleeding foot and spend the rest of the evening cleaning it and trying to stop the bleeding!

Do not hire this company! I cannot stress enough how absolutely ridiculous this experience was! I’m waiting to hear back from management tomorrow because I called to complain tonight, but I want everyone to know about my experience and the nightmare I went through!
