I purchased a half-ton plow from Donovan Equipment for the front of my truck. They did a really good job installing the plow and did it in a good time frame for me. A snow storm was coming and I needed it installed that same day. They achieved that without a problem. They did tell me briefly how to hook and unhook the plow. This company is a distance from me, once the plow is installed you are limited to how fast and where you can drive when mounted. Driving back to them would have been daunting. It was the weekend and I assumed no one was working or on call. The first time disconnecting the plow I found that it would not disconnect properly, and was catching on something. I got a car jack to remove the plow and while going between the bumper and the plow I cut my leg on the plow, ending up having to have seven stitches from a piece that was left on the bumper that was catching the plow enabling it from disconnecting properly. I removed the piece that was left by removing two screws from the bumper allowing it to slide right off, remounted the plow and it does work well. They are professional and I did like that they were able to install the same day I called. I would have given a five-star total experience had they walked me through the process of how to disconnect and connect the plow while at the shop. If they had shown me this one step the piece that was enabling that process would have been discovered and taken care of that same day and I wouldn't have had a trip to emergency for the seven stitches. I do not think they were aware there was a piece still there or they would have rectified the issue. Overall I am happy with the plow, it does a great job and I would use them again.
