Service generally available when needed, service agent is knowledgeable. - One major gaffe: service person advised on precautions supposedly required to avert flooding. The precaution was well advised, and involved a purchase from All Purpose. Sometimes it happens that a customer does not avail himself of the recommended protection against flooding and as a result flooding occurs. When the customer calls All Purpose for service addressing the flooding, the service agent, knowing that had the customer purchased protection the flood would not have occurred, told me he arrives at the flood victim's door "with a smile on my face." An I-told-you-so smile. This remark was insensitive and entirely inappropriate. Had I not signed a contract, I'd have found a new plumbing service. - Apart from this example of social ineptitude, the service agent was quite good at what he does. - I might add that this unfortunate incident happened a while ago, at the beginning of my relationship with APP. I decided to let it go. I regret not having reported the agent's unwise remark to APP earlier.
