Outstanding and I recommend them to all my friends

A Master's Hands has been our go-to repair service for the last year and a half. The servicemen they send always come on time and do an excellent job. However, they've raised their prices since the last time I used them six months ago to do some electrical floor restoration and plumbing repair and it's become difficult being able to afford their services now, which is such a shame. I would have stuck with them but because of the price raise, that might not be possible anymore. Other than that, they are an excellent business and I am very pleased with their service.

Linda, thanks for your kind words about our professionalism and timeliness – much appreciated. I just wanted to clarify something, though – we did not actually raise our rates since your last appointment. Since that date, we did set a policy that our FIRST hour would be either $120 or $130 (the latter for plumbing/electrical). This was in lieu of a trip charge that we used to include for smaller (less than 3 hours) jobs. But all your previous jobs were more than 3 hours, so you never knew about the trip charge that clients with smaller jobs were paying. When we changed our policy, we felt that applying the trip charge -- what we're calling the first-hour rate -- to every job was a more equitable, across-the-board, way to bill our customers, and to be able to boost what we pay our technicians. We surveyed other service providers in our industry and found that a great many of them structure their billing in this or a similar way and it seemed a good idea to go with an industry standard.

Again, thank you for your kindness. You have been a gracious and valued client and we hope to be able to continue to provide you with the kind of service you have come to expect from us.
