Although our AC ran when we tested it a week ago, when the temp hit 91 degrees after 5 pm last Thursday, it failed to start. When I called for service and left a message with the answering service, they said that they would try to get to it the next day. Thinking that I was probably not the only one without AC on the first hot day of the season, I was prepared to wait. But after getting a call at noon, Bill arrived a short time later. He diagnosed the problem (mouse shorted out the capacitor) and had it fixed in short order. After he verified that the unit was operating correctly, he was on his way.
