During the cold front that affected the east coast this month my furnace would not start. I called B&B and a technician arrived after 5 hours. The diagnostic which cost me $110 was that I needed to replace the igniter. The quote for the part was $200. I asked to see the part and look it up online. Universal igniter cost an average of $25 dollars. The labor to install it was another $90, which nicely rounded it to $400. I call the company and I asked if they could reconsider the price and they say not "They need to mark up prices to cover overhead" I will not be doing business with them again!
