Being a nurse, I usually have a low tolerance for doctors and their opinions, particularly when they don't agree with logic or reason. I have also had some negative experiences with physicians and don't have the public high opinion of their overall knowledge. I was very pleasantly surprised by the two physicians at the Avon office whom I have encountered, Drs. Escolar and Carbone. Both are intelligent, friendly people who know how to communicate clearly without being condescending, and are quite knowledgeable about family medicine.

Like everything else in the Avon area, the price for service is higher than I was used to when moving from Northwest Ohio, and my insurance isn't great. So I hate having to pay the bill - but at least I am paying a bill for something that will help me, and I don't have to worry about waiting three weeks and then going back to the doctor with the same problem.

I highly recommend their services.
