Poor product / Poor service

Before you purchase from Fireside Design ask about their turn-around time for service. Of course, you shouldn't need service, but we do. Repeatedly! The first time it was two weeks before they could get a technician out. This last time, it was three and a half weeks! When have you asked for service and it took three and a half weeks? Be sure you have a back-up heat source before you purchase from Fireside Design.

It’s only human nature to address repairs only when one requires one. I’m sure you will agree we are a seasonal business, and at the slightest cold snap we are inundated with hundreds of calls regarding service from pellet stoves to gas logs. This is typical with any hearth retailer. We schedule our services on a first come first serve bases which is only fair. You wouldn’t want us to put someone in front of your existing appointment would you? Pellet and wood stoves are technically not primary heat source although we use them as so therefore you should have a central heating system available. The only suggestion I have for you and anyone who reads this in order to avoid this type of situation in the future is to test start your heating appliance in late summer and should you have a issue we would be able to address your issues in a timely manner.
