I am not pleased with Fireside Designs at the moment. I will explain why. I purchased the floor model pellet stove at Fireside Designs. The installation went well, and the installation technician did a great job of installation. This pellet stove malfunctioned continuously and when I called them they were kind of rude. I had to wait over a week for them to replace the stove with a brand new one. Again, the installation guy was great, and he did a good job. With this new one, there is a problem with the settings not working properly. I called them to come back out, and they told me that they were too busy. I was also told that my pellet stove is not meant to be my primary source of heat and I paid as much for this as a new HVAC unit. This was the first time I had ever heard that pellet stoves couldn't be used for primary heat. This has not been a pleasant experience; they have not returned to fix the settings that give me the error "ignitor fail." I am still waiting for the issue to be resolved.
