Terrible Experience with this dealer

I want to issue a complaint about an Ortal dealer - Jay Peloquin of Fireside Design, West Springfield, MA. I called Mr. Peloquin to discuss purchasing an Ortal gas fireplace. I don’t know what is wrong with this man but he was rude, angry, hard to communicate with, and he hung up on me. This is not a man you want to work with.

Yes, there was an interaction where I hung up on this person. This person was rude, condescending and dismissive of anything I had to say that was not what he wanted to hear. I questioned him why he was so hostile multiple times, and even received and apology, prior to him continuing to be rude and difficult which ultimately lead to me hanging up on him. It does seem every review this man has ever put on the internet about a business is a "revenge" review, where he attacks the psychological makeup of the person and/or business he attempts to do business with, with no context of why the situation at hand actually happened. Given our history of A+ standing with the BBB for numerous years, thousands of satisfied customers, we will continue to focus on providing a great customer experience moving forward.
