I usually do not use Peterson and smith, but i had no choice when my horse ripped the top half of her eyelid nearly completely off and the vet I usually use was unavailable. The lady who stitched my horse's eyelid was very kind but did not know what she was doing. We noticed my horse's eye was not healing and when we later had our original vet come do a follow up check she was appalled at the stitches. The stitches that were put in were rubbing against my horse's eyeball and had caused a severe ulcer that caused my horse to go through 4 weeks at UF which cost us nearly 5k in bills. I would not recommend their services to anyone.
