As a woman, I have frequently experienced auto mechanics who are disrespectful. For example at other automotive repair shops and dealerships, I am met with verbal and non-verbal communications from the service representative demonstrates skepticism and disrespect of my knowledge of vehicles and the problem. At other service centres, I needed to have my husband accompany to ensure that my needs were met because they service representative would ignore me and default to my husband for information on a vehicle that he rarely drove. At German Car Specialists, my concerns are always acknowledged and addressed in a respectful manner. Several times, Beth has gone "above the call of duty.'" For example, when I was traveling, the service info light came on. Given I had recently acquired the vehicle and was not as familiar with the meaning of the light and didn't want to cause damage, I phoned Beth. Calmly, she walked me through the problem, which was easily solved, and I was on my way. Beth knows German cars and understands women who drive those cars in a way that I have never before experienced. She works extremely hard to recommend solutions that are realistic and cost effective. If I had to say one thing about German Car Specialists, it is that it is they respect women and their needs for car repairs.
