The work itself was fine, but $321 to replace a kitchen faucet (which took less than an hour) is extortion. I wouldn’t have paid it we’re it not for the fact that I was already committed to paying the $99 fee for the visit. I also find it unprofessional that the plumber who showed up insisted I pay in cash. I should have called other plumbers and asked for a general estimate before he came out, but I mistakenly trusted John C. Flood to be a professional business with integrity based on previous experience. I won’t use them again.
