This was the first time I've used Dave's services. I normally do my own plumbing, but I know when to say no, call in the professional! I had started doing work on the faucet over the tub in the bathroom, but I realized it wasn't being amenable, so I called Dave. He had me open up the wall and then said that the plumbing was being held together with nothing but rust. The house was built in the 1870s and the plumbing is probably from the 1930s, so Dave replaced the piping and put in new valves in the house. I appreciate his style of work-- he works on old WWII planes as a hobby, and when you fly planes like that, as you get ready to take off, you walk around the plane, touch a part, and state what's going on, e.g. "Fuelcap on." He did the same kind of step-by-step walkthrough while working on my plumbing. As an engineer, I find this very comforting, because it means he's checking and double-checking his work. Also, this made what he was doing clear to me, and I appreciated him working with me and my existing base of knowledge.
