I'm a retired Naval Officer and have built a couple of businesses since retirement and am now currently working for a worldwide nonprofit with a focus on customer service. Two years ago our home in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville needed a new roof. It was nearing the end of its life but a lightening strike sealed the fate and a new roof was in order. Fast forward less than two years and Irma blows into town. I am remote now and have tenants in the house. On Monday 9/11 at 440pm I receive a video and word from my tenant that a branch has pierced through our new roof as a result of Irma. I called AJ Wells that same day just before 5pm. They remembered me and told me they would be out the next day. True to their word, they were out there, assessed the damage, effected a temporary repair to prevent water intrusion and scheduled a complete repair for a few weeks from now.
