Four years ago, I was told I had to transfer colleges. I went from living away from home in beautiful Bristol, RI to going back home in Millbury, MA. Talk about buzzkill! ;) I told my parents I would only move home if I could get something to consume my time and energy; a puppy. I had my heart set on a yochon baby; a yorkie bichon mix. I started looking in the summer of 2010 and had little to 0 luck. I even drove to Nashua, NH to look at purebred Bichon puppies because I was ready to give in. After leaving, my mother told me they were too big and I needed to withdraw my deposit. Crying, I did so and felt like I would never find my dream dog. The SAME day, the owner of Pik A Pup emailed me saying they would have Yochon puppies within the next month. Talk about divine intervention!!!! On August 20th, 2010 I picked up my best friend, Paisley Mae. The workers were overly welcoming and even let my mother and I sit in a room alone with the pup. We have now had her four years and have never been so thankful for anyrhing in our lives. She is our first dog and we don't know how we survived without one. She brings happiness to everyday and to everyone she meets. She is a beautiful dog with an even more beautiful soul. My boyfriend and his family even followed suit and purchased their first dog 3 years later at Pik a Pup. We can't thank you enough for the blessing you gave us. "Love is a four-legged word." We love her and thank you Pik a pup. You completed our family and made my life 10000X better post-transfer.
