Duct Cleaning Twin Cities

They did not clean anything

On 7/25, two men came to clean our HVAC system. They spent most of their time trying to convince my wife to buy extra services, some of which she agreed to. The final bill was:
Roto Brush (air duct cleaning): $189.00
Furnace clean $65Outside A/C (Free bonus)
Furnace chimney: $69.95Plus tax,
which totaled $346.96
They spent all together about 45 minutes at our house. Couple days later, I decided to look into the system to see how clean it is and noticed that it is still extremely dirty. In the lower portions of the duct system, there is about 1/2 inch layer of dust and the outlets in the rooms are very dirty too. (I can provide photographs)The air-conditioning unit is still dirty too. In other words, they didn't clean anything even though they did bring a large hose into the basement from their car. I called them this morning and spoke to the owner Scot, who said he would call me back within half an hour but he never did. When I called back again (from a different number, because my original phone is being ignored) he said he would call back within an hour. He never did. From reading other complaints on BBB, this is their standard procedure. They ignore the phone calls.

This is a total scam. Please be ware of this company or any of these associated companies:

Whew, where to begin. :P

In business there is a saying that 20 of your customers will create 80 of your problems. We have had the pleasure over the years of having little or no real problem customers...until you, Pavel.

As stated, you were not present when our techs came out to your home the first time. As you can clearly tell by our other reviews, Jason & Chuck aren't pushy sales people. They are duct cleaning technicians who spotted obvious things which needed to be suggested. Had they not mentioned them to your wife, they would have been doing your whole family a disservice. Your wife agreed to their suggestions, so our techs did the work.

Our guess is you came home and discovered your wife spent more than you had planned and set out on a course to get your money back. We offered a re-clean, which you agreed to and was done to your satisfaction. When asked if the re-clean was done satisfactorily, you told our technician yes.

Even your neighbor, who was present, said you were being unfair and hard on our techs. A white glove...seriously? Who does that? When we pulled your chimney cap off, it was full of rust! Of course you could write your name in it even after it was cleaned, it's rust. We're not in the business of metal restoration, Pavel. You need to get your chimney cap replaced.

While we've had complaints in the past (generally time crunch issues), we've quickly straightened them out to the very best of our ability. You on the other hand, had us come out a second time, told us the job was satisfactory and then are still complaining and demanding a refund. After the way you treated our tech and the thorough job he did in spite of it, we will not be refunding your money.

It is not easy to say this Pavel, but we think it is in the best interest of both parties if you bring your future business elsewhere.
