$320 rip off for a battery terminal two cable ends?
University Tire and Auto Center tried to charge my daughter $320 to fix one battery terminal. They used the old cables & old battery and replaced just the cable ends on the new terminal. They said the job "required" THREE hours labor. Unbelievable. AFTER I questioned the the rip off, they agreed to reduce the cost to two hours labor and the "cost" lowered to ~$250. How can you trust folks like this??
If you think $320 for a new terminal and cable ends is fair, then this is your place. If you want to be ripped off even AFTER you point out the rip off, this also the spot. Please be careful with University Tire and Auto in Charlottesville.
They took advantage of a girl at UVA and a parent at home. We were over a barrel and they took it to us.
UVA students are not safe there, based on our experience.
