Arnold & Sons Plumbing, Sewer & Drain are quick to come out. I had used them previously, and the speed in which they can get to you is the reason I called them again to move the pipe going to my hot water heater. The first two plumbing technicians to come out to access the job were nice. Then they sent out three plumbers to do the actual work. When I initially called the office, I let the lady answering the phone know that they could not park in the driveway as there was cement work as well as a cement machine in the driveway. They parked in the driveway. I had to go out and tell them to move across the street and park there. As they were getting out of their truck, they already had the booties on their shoes. They had to walk through all the dirt and muck into the garage and then into my home. I asked them why they already had booties on and walked through the muck. Two of these plumbers replied that it was easier for them to put them on that way. One of the plumbers did put his on in the garage, but he was not the one going back and forth to the truck. I would like to say that I am grateful that they made time for me right away, but I question the way the work was done. I don't feel like it was done correctly, and I don't think everybody knew what they were doing. It looks peculiar to me and I don't know if it is going to work. I am not pleased with the way it looks at all. They took off the outside faucet and moved it and instead of going through ceiling they went through wall. In doing so, they found a corrosive P shaped pipe and instead of putting in a P shaped pipe, they concocted some kind of thing that looks like little tiny pieces of piping screwed together. I don't know if it's going to hold. It looks bizarre. The price they charged was twice as high as anyone else in my area. I honestly don't know why they are doing things the way they are. Sending 2 people out for estimate and then 3 people out to do the work when one person would have been sufficient. The plumbers are nice, and I have no complaints with that. It is just bizarre the way they are doing business now. The only thing about this service call that was good was that they were quick to arrive. I'm not sure what is going on with Arnold & Sons Plumbing, Sewer & Drain, I was charged $2,200 dollars for a $500 dollar job! I will never call them again!
