The second crew kept mentioning to my wife, who was home at the time that there must be a plumbing problem. They sold her a container of Bio-Clean which is a safe way to clean out the build up in pipes for $80, we found out later this same product is available online for $50. Also leaving quotes for extensive work, pulling out the old plumbing, $779, replacing a leaking disposal $449, with us providing the disposal. I was able to purchase the exact replacement disposal for $85 dollars and install it myself in about an hour. Needless to say I did not proceed with any of their suggestions. I have since called them back multiple times to complain, speaking to someone different every time, about the bill and see if they would do what is right and correct the final bill to a reasonable and fair fee. On every occasion they have promised to get back to me, however I have had to call them back every time. I am frustrated and feel as though I have been ripped off.
