Punctual and friendly, no attention to detail

My initial scheduled appointment was cancelled due to an “employee injury” but quickly remedied. Technician arrived 30 minutes before initial time which was great, however, beyond his courteous demeanor, my jobs were performed at a standard I would have expected from an inexperienced neighbor, and I paid an exorbitant amount for the work. My dishwasher was installed and unlevel, so bad I could tell from across the room. I had to point this out. Once the front height was leveled I observed it to be unlevel front and back, I fixed that myself later because I felt it was minor. When I realized they didn’t attach the mounting cabinet brackets I called them back. “Yea we saw that” was the reply, yet they simply moved on and had every intention of just leaving the job as it was, without saying anything to me. Needless to say, “I” looked for and found the brackets inside the dishwasher and they then installed, with the dishwasher out of place, which I had to later fix. I paid nearly $200 for the hookup portion of the dishwasher job and the only thing they did right was twist the wires and connect the hose. The stove project went smooth, aside from not being quoted or shown different prices for different types of gas lines, as an honest company would do. I was quoted for the most expensive which needed to be delivered by the runner. I later overheard the technician tell, his boss I imagine, that he sold me on the cable, which he had not, different options were not presented, maybe that’s a company standard. However, the tech later bragged about this particular line costing almost $300 more than standard hard lines. So that boils down to over $400 in overcharges. I’d like a partial refund

Matt,
I spoke with the technician and feel confident that most of this is contrived and exaggerated for the sake of a partial refund you think you will get.
Regardless of what the cost was, our policy is to give the price upfront before any work was performed which is exactly what he did. YOU agree with the cost. WE don't do the work then hand you a bill to pay later. If you thought it was too expensive then you should have told us that before the job was done, not after.
We see no reason for any refund at this time
