Called many previous companies for estimates. Had everything from the absurdly expensive to the ridiculously cheap. Went to Angie's List and the GAF website to find recommended companies. Called Best Roofing. Thanh came by, was courteous, straightforward and didn't waste my time trying to sell me stuff I didn't need. The price was right, I felt comfortable and we made the deal.

About two weeks out, talked to Thanh and received what I thought was going to be a good date. However, someone needed to delay and we were able to slide in early. We lost some shingles during the hurricane and Thanh came out and put on some leak barrier to keep the house protected until the new roof could be put on. Thanh kept me apprised of the team"s progress each day before they made it to my house.

The guys worked hard on the roof and knowing they couldn't finish in one day they only ripped off part of the roof and applied new roofing to make sure we wouldn't have problems if we got any rain. (Very considerate) When putting in the ridge vents and sealing up where the old box vents were, the team helped me look for the cause of a potential leak. We found that the company that came in and repaired a previous leak never replaced the insulation. The team let me grab some insulation from a local store and put it in for me.

Once the job was done, the team went around and tried to find all the nails that came off the roof. They got all the trash, but we had a couple of very windy days so some nails went further than others. We couldn't find them all, but did get the vast majority. Found only a very small amount in my yard when I started blowing leaves and raking.

I know this is a long review, but I want to make it very clear that I was very happy to use this locally owned company and love the warranty that came along with it. Highly recommend these guys for any roofing job you might need! You can trust Thanh to be straightforward and honest.
