Ty from Best Roofing of Virginia was recommended by two friends of ours who did not know each other. We still got two other roofing estimates, but Ty’s quote was the best price. We choose Ty also because of the GAF shingles, the untearable moisture barrier, ( not old style tar paper ), the ice & water shield for roof drip line and a ridge cap for venting, ( so no ugly roof fans and vents anymore ! ) . This is all backed by a lifetime defect warranty / 10 year workmanship by GAF manufacturer, so no worries if Ty goes on to another career.
The actual roof replacement was perfect. Ty’s roofing team were polite, hardworking, quiet ( no radios blaring ..wow ), and cleaned up very carefully after the job was done. Ty himself made sure everything was done completely to our satisfaction, even checking when the shingles first went on, to see if we liked the color.
