We previously had roofing work performed by Best Roofing of Tidewater. During that installation, they replaced the shingles on the front of our home because the previous installer used staples vice nails in the shingles. They did an excellent job then so my expectations were high that the company would perform well again.
When we started looking for a company to do a roof install for the back of my home because it had shingles from 3 different contractors (the one that used staples, one that installed a 832 ft square room addition, and one that modified a bay window area). We initially did not know that the company's name changed to Best Roofing of Virginia. We looked at 2 web sites to get estimates from 5 companies. We received all the estimates and then we figured out that Best Roofing of Tidewater changed their name. After we received our estimate from the Project Manager/Estimator (Thanh Nguyen) from Best Roofing of Virginia, we evaluated all the estimates we received. In the end, we selected Best Roofing of Virginia because we received superior workmanship previously. Thanh did the best evaluation of our roof, and the price for installation made the most sense for us.
Thanh was very knowledgeable and personable. He would call us and let us know what was going to occur and how the project was to progress. The estimate was performed on September 15, 2017. The contract was signed on September 20, 2017. The estimated start date was September 25, 2017 and estimated completion date was October 25, 2017. The job was completed on October 5, 2017. In our opinion, this is an excellent execution and planning of the installation.
We had no issues with any of the personnel that installed the roof and cleaned up the old shingles. The personnel that dropped off the materials and set the dumpster also was very professional. The clean-up was excellent as well. Best Roofing of Virginia provides great service!
Finally, the back of my home has shingles that match! Although, the back of my home is not seen much and of course does not have the curb appeal that the front of my home has, I know that it was installed correctly. My wife was surprised to see that I actually went up on the roof and inspected all of the vents, attic fan, and flashing around the chimney. I want to tell you, you can tell that Best Roofing of Virginia has good installers. I listened to 3 different installers. They consistently nailed 6 nails into each shingle. I received a quality roof from Best Roofing of Virginia. Even several of our neighbors made nice comment about the job.
