Aamco Transmissions came out to help us in an urgent situation. My wife and I were traveling in a motor home and it started having problems with the transmission. I called John of Aamco on a Saturday, and he came out to where we were; we were about four miles from his shop. The first wrecker that came out wasn't big enough for the motor home. So they had to arrange for another wrecker to come from Jacksonville. I waited with the motor home for the second wrecker, while John drove my spouse to a motel. It took awhile for it to be fixed, maybe a week or ten days, but during the process, their service was fantastic. RJ, who's their customer service coordinator, kept me informed at all times about what was going on. I was very appreciative of that. Our trip didn't work out as we'd planned, and at this point, I'm still recovering from pneumonia, so it was not a good situation all around. But the people at Aamco salvaged a bad situation for me.
