In the beginning, about two and a half years ago when I was taking everything to AAMCO Transmission and Total Car Care and referring them to a lot of other people, there was a manager there named John who was excellent. Recently, since John is no longer there, they hired a younger guy that was awful. After him they hired somebody else that was even worse.

I began getting charges for stuff I wouldn't be charged for normally. They were mistaking my car for other people's cars and calling back the wrong point of contact. It became a bad experience. Over two and a half years I know that between myself and everyone I sent there well over $10,000 has been spent. I wouldn't advise anybody else to go back to them and I won't be going back either.

The last time I went to have my car checked out and I asked them for the code. He wrote on a piece of paper and told me there were no codes. I took it right down the street and the mechanic there hooked it up and gave me a list of ten codes. I also took my vehicle to another shop that told me the reason my gasket was blown was because the people who did the initial job did a bad job of it. They were the ones who did that initial job.
