Dishonest and Disrespectful

I set up an appointment to have my washer cleaned and they said that was one of their regular services and that it would be quick and easy. I stated that the ring of our front loaded was full of black mold and gunk and that was my main concern. That when we run the washer would just smell terrible. They reassured me that they would get it all cleaned up, run a professional grade cleaner through the washer and even leave me some extra for another cleaning cycle. They started out with great expectations! And then after the service provider, Travis Thompson, left and the washer was done running the cleaning cycle I opened up the washer to inspect the work. It looked exactly the same! I had asked Travis before he left if he had cleaned all the gunk under the ring and he stated he had gotten it all. I didn't even look like he touched that part. I called the office and spoke with Joe (no last name given or posted on the websites), he said that he would send out a tech the following day and get it all cleaned up at no extra charge. Great, I'll give them another chance, thinking that things happen. Day 2 the same tech, Travis, comes in to clean. I showed his this time how to pull back the ring and the what needed to be cleaned. He said that he would get right on it. He also said that he checked the water lines to make sure the flow was good. He filled a bucket with the water that flowed into the washer and brought it down to me to check. The water was clear and didn't have any kind of an odor. Great! Then he said that he adjusted the was line to help the flow and stated that we wouldn't have any kind of leak issue and that I could go ahead and do my laundry. He was here for over an hour. (From 10:30am to almost 12pm)
That after as I had put in a load to wash my husband and I came home from water leaking from the laundry room (which is on the second floor) down to the kitchen! The water was coming through a light socket. My husband immediately turned the water off and called the company. Joe, who always answers the phone, was trying to tell my husband that it isn't their issue and that if there is any damage that they would not be held responsible! My husband insisted that they needed to come out asap and to fix the issue and as damages go that they would be held responsible as Travis was their tech who was dealing with out water lines. Joe said that he would come out the following morning and take a look at the washer and leaks.
Joe and Travis arrived Friday morning and I showed them where the leaks came from the ceiling and let him know we had pictures from when the water was coming down. He took a look and then headed right up to the laundry room. When he was down inspecting he stated that he tightened up the water line and that it must have been whoever originally installed the washer and that it wasn't their issue and that we also need a new drip pan due to a crack. I couldn't believe that he was trying to place blame on installation from over a year ago. I explained that Travis said he is the one who messed with the water lines and that there haven't been any issues until he messed with our washer. That the installation of our washer from over a year ago had nothing to do with the current leak. I kept trying to get Travis to respond and explain himself but Joe would constantly intervene and not let Travis speak. Joe kept saying that it wasn't their responsibility and whenever I would try to get back to the fact that Travis was the one who messed with the water line he would cut me off and state that he wasn't going to talk to me anymore. That he was done and that I had to figure it out! I was beside myself, even when my friend (who was here the entire time) tried to ask him how they were going to fix their mistake, he would cut her off and tell her that they weren't going to fix it. He said that he was not going to discuss the matter. He walked Travis out and then came back. I tried again to say that because they were the ones to cause the leak that they were responsible and he just kept telling me that because I was so upset that he wasn't going to talk to me anymore. Of course I was upset, but I didn't not yell or disrespect him in anyway, I kept making sure that I was speaking as calmly as anyone could in that situation, but when he would shut me down every time, it was very difficult. He then stormed out of my home slamming my front door. I then proceeded to follow him telling him that was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. That choosing to not discuss their faulty work is not reason to dissect anyone. He then flicked me off and proceeded to his vehicle. I told him that I had seen his indecent hand gesture and that I was not going to accept that kind of treatment. My husband tried speaking with Joe and he again told him it wasn't their problem. We have begun speaking with a business lawyer to rectify the issue.
