Our vent cleaning service is performed using a 4 step process. First a fiberglass rod is inserted into vent to check for any obstruction and to loosen any blockage. Second a brush is added to loosen and remove as much debris as possible. Third, depending on vent type, either a vacuum or a blower is used to remove any remaining debris. Lastly post cleaning testing is performed to insure adequate air flow is achieved. This cleaning was provided for this customer and post cleaning air flow test revealed adequate air flow. We have found that sometime when birds nest are removed from dryer vents, the birds soon return and build another nest. So, we have a "clear for a year" guarantee. Which mean if for any reason your dryer vent gets blocked again in the 12 month following the service we provided we will come back and clean it again for free. Unfortunately the customer in this case did not give us the opportunity to return and honor our guarantee.
