Got a prelim quote over the phone, but did not get a confirmed quote before starting repairs.
King Appliance was very quick in responding to my call. I was given an estimated quote over the phone based on the problem described to repair my washing machine. King's Appliance website states that they will give you an up front price before they start the job and this was not the case. Had I been told how much the charge was going to be, I might not of had the work done and just paid the service call. I was not at all satisfied with the amount I was charged for the type of work that was done which was very minor with no parts involved. This is why it is important to get a repair quote before allowing anyone to do work for you. I believe that King Appliance should of given me a second quote after diagnosing the problem, but they didn't. My fault was that I should of confirmed the repair charge after the technician found out what the problem was, so therfore it was my loss as I belive I was over charged. Will I refer this business, not when I was not satified with the process.
