5 day project took 6 weeks!!!!
Plain and simple this has been the worst experience of our lives. Our one and only bathroom was gutted to the studs and when we were told that on day 2 we'd have a functioning toilet, that's what we expected. We didn't have a functioning toilet until day 4 (at night). Having two small children, this was just simply not okay. Within a few hours of the floors being down our grout started cracking. We had to call them back to redo the floors completely. The company asked how to make it better, so I asked for them to put us up in a hotel. The hotel was definitely not what we expected. Once home the threshold was not done correctly (it was way too tall and not sanded down properly), they left a massive amount of grout under our baseboard heat and did not properly seal certain areas of the trim, among a few other minor details that were overlooked. Going into week 4 of a 5 day project, the amazing installation manager Eric came to see the bathroom progress and noted all of the issues. He had two guys come back and "fix" their mistakes and the things they overlooked. They finished and our shower was then not sealed properly again at the ceiling, and the threshold was still not sanded or polished correctly. Then we received a visit from Brian, who is apparently the VP of the company. It was very off putting having him in my home. He turned what could've been a situation to apologize and redeem his staff into a very uncomfortable situation saying that "You won't be getting a $10k bathroom for free" all while chuckling. I didn't find his sarcasm funny or appreciate his attitude toward our project. Now it's 6 weeks into our project and although it will be finished today, the price adjustments have not happened and no one seems to be holding that conversation with me. I will not be paying for this remodel until it is completely taken care of. I highly recommend you avoid them if you need a huge overhaul!
