My experience with ProRoofing started out extremely good. It would have been drastically different if I'd gotten some response from them on issues that I noticed after the job was done. The core roofing job looks pretty good, but the workers were careless with a few things and never got back to me after I called twice to leave messages regarding the issues. For example, while they were working they dropped bundles of tile on the roof that were so heavy it broke the chandelier in my entryway. The force completely snapped off the metal clamp and dropped the chandelier. Almost the same thing happened to a friend of mine who also used ProRoofing. He had to get someone to come inspect the house after they did their work because he was worried about the structural integrity of the house.

Initially, it all looked very good looking up at the new roof from the road, but after I went up and looked more closely at the flashing work, I realized they cracked a bunch of the siding in the process and had broken whole pieces off. They never said anything about the damage to the siding. I've since gone up there and fixed everything myself since there was no communication whatsoever from the crew. I'm also a bit confused because they blocked off some vents when they did their work. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way because of the new roof cap, or if I should be removed. It's fine if that's the way its supposed to be, I just need to know.

The pricing was good. I shopped around and got 3 prices initially that were all over the map. He came back and made the price more competitive compared with the with the cheaper quote we had gotten. I liked them and really wanted to go with them, so I did. Again, I would have initially given them a top notch score and the roof work itself is good, it's just all the other things that have made me unhappy, especially now that I've put all the work into cleaning up after them. If they had just communicated with me that would have made a big difference.
