Emergency Service lacks all compassion. Will never use again

We recently had the need to use QVC’s emergency center for two of our dogs who had severe injuries from a dog fight. They took our 1 dog in the back. We were not “invited” back to be with her. I understand that our poor dog was left for about an hour without attention. Then we were told she was acting stressed and unable to be handled so they would have to sedate her. Of course she was angry. She was in pain and left for a very long time. I left for the human emergency room as my arm was caught a few times during the fight. I left my adult daughter in charge at the clinic. She requested updates multiple times and never received one. We were so afraid and angry. Our other dog, the aggressor in the fight, was tended to and returned to the room where my daughter was. We never met the Vet nor was given updates. Finally, the door opened and they tried to walk in the victim dog to the same room with the dog that had attacked her. What the heck were they thinking!!!!!
We made the very painful decision to relinquish ownership of the aggressor to the clinic as they wanted to find her a new home. We appreciated their concern for her. But I have to say during the entire time there we have never been treated more rudely. The techs acted mad at us for relinquishing our dog. Never once did they try to understand why we felt we needed to do what we did. They never asked if there was a history to our story. They never tried to understand the pain we were going through and how traumatic this was for all of us. Since then, i have called the clinic to find out how that dog is doing. We still love her and want her to find a great home. We have been given curt and cold minimal responses like we are evil people.
The treatment our other dog received was adequate but the employees lack of any compassion or care was heartbreaking. As I said, no body tried to speak to us to understand the situation. They just did not seem to care about our dog or us. All of the Vets we have used in the past have called for a follow up on any injured or sick dog we brought to them. I have never heard from QVC on the condition of the dog that received the worst of it...ears had to to stitched back together...staples in multiple locations on her face, head and legs......
I will NEVER use QVC again and am letting my experience known to others. We have all lost sleep over this situation and some of that is due to the clinic’s treatment of us and our dogs. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

We are sorry your perception of what happened during the emergency visit is so negative. We understand you were not present for the time your dogs where in our care and the three teenagers left to deal with the situation have relayed the events this way?
Most certainly we understand that it was a stressful situation as is always the case when two family dogs fight and injure each other. The dogs that was most hurt was worked on first, and yes the other less injured dog did wait while our doctor did that. Your dog was not in a life threatening situation and we always take most serious case first. I am sure the kids were very upset about the turn of events as would an adult be also. We are proud that we could give you the option to relinquish one of your dogs instead of you choosing to euthanize them. We were under the impression you relinquished the non-aggressive dog to us as it would be easier to find her a home. This was a wise choice as if they both remained together there may have been another fight. We did indeed find your dog a lovely home, no children, no other pets and while she was in our care even during treatment, never once showed any kind of aggression. We have reports that she is very sweet and is well loved. The relinquish papers that were signed state, you have relinquished ALL rights to your pet. Much like a shelter we can no longer give you information or let you know where your pet was placed. This is very standard. We thank you for giving your pet a chance at a new life with a loving family instead of euthanasia.
