Quick to take money

Taking my dog here in a pinch for a ultra sound. Paid bill in full. 2 days later had to put my dog to sleep, at our vet. Got collection notice with different invoice number. I guess $400 wasn't enough they needed more. Thanks for being the most un compassionate people I have ever met. Having the billing manager Debbie curse at me was also a great experience.

We are so sorry to hear of your dogs passing. Our deepest condolences to you. We were surprised by your recent review, over 4 months after your original service. We have not heard anything negative from you until now. There must be some misunderstang, we reviewed your original invoice, you did leave a deposit but the bill was not paid in full, we would be happy to resend it for you to take a look at. We did send several letters with regards to the remaing balance and our staff attempted to reach you by phone over the past 4 months. We did not hear back from you. Eventually after all our attempts have been exhausted your account was sent to collection. We assume you received a call or letter from the credit collector as one day after settling your account you left us an unfavorable review. We are sorry you feel this way and were shocked at your perception as you had initially signed an estimate for services to treat and or perform more diagnostics, you declined to do this as is your right and took your dog home. We clearly would not have sent your account to collection if it had been paid in full as you state. Debbie Deily has worked here for many years and is an extremely mild mannered, softly spoken and professional individual, we find it extremely hard to believe that she "cursed" at you. It seems you are angry that you had to pay the outstanding balance, we did try very hard to reach you. Resorting to untruths is never a good idea. We want you to be happy with your veterinary experience, it seems we cannot fulfill your particular needs or expectations, for this we apologize. Please feel free to look for another Emergency Veterinary practice for your future needs, we can gladly recommend some if you wish. We can only do business when mutual respect for the Dr/Client relationship is present and clearly we are beyond this. We wish you the very best of luck in the future and in finding a veterinarian that can make you happy.
