I want everybody to know what a terrible experience I had with Team Electric, Plumbing & Air. First of all, I had used Team Electric, Plumbing & Air in the past, to the tune of about $5,000. That was to replace the entire circuit breaker board in my kitchen. There was something on my invoice about them rewarding repeat customers, a sort of "Customer Appreciation" reward. When I called them on this project and asked about it, they acted like they knew nothing at all about that program. The man who came out "talked me into", or should I say "intimidated me into" purchased eight carbon monoxide/smoke detectors. He scared me into thinking I could not pass an inspection without them.

So, I went ahead and had him install eight of them to the tune of about $1,300 for the most basic and simple detectors out there. It must have taken him all of 45 minutes to install all eight of them. Imagine my surprise and chagrin when I saw those same units at two major home supply stores for around $200 to $300! I was appalled and disappointed! I have never been so mad and angry in my life. I was totally embarrassed to show my husband the bill. There was a sump pump we needed to replace at the same time, and we did not hire Team Electric, Plumbing & Air to do it, so I speculate they may have just been trying to make up that money. Who knows for sure? All I know is, that I got ripped off!
