After I got rear-ended (while I was at a dead stop, by the way) on 5th Avenue in Seattle by some idiot going fifty miles an hour, I thought by 2002 Toyota Camry was gone forever. The car was still largely intact, but an unlucky combination of damage done and a flogging used-car market indicated that my car was totaled.
