Disappointed and Frustrated Customer
Our pool was installed by Cody in 2016.
Pros:
1. The pool construction process went relatively well. Communication was consistent by our superintendent.
2. We think our pool is beautiful, and enjoyable.
Cons:
1. Warranty claims are a slow tedious process due to the reliance of the warranty department on the construction superintendents to run both new construction and warranty claims.
2. Complete lack of follow up by the warranty department, superintendent, and management. This is despite multiple calls, emails, and requests for management intervention. Our waterfall has been leaking for over a year, and they literally will not call us back, or make arrangements to repair the leak.
3. Argumentative staff in the warranty department. I called two weeks ago to express my frustration with their lack of follow up, and was told they are busy, and the manager was on vacation. I asked that the manager call me when they got back from vacation, and have received no follow up. I also asked the Pentair rep be contacted regarding our pool cleaner issues. We are on our third pool cleaner in three years. No follow up here either.
In summary, I feel that they have their act together in the design and construction phases. They need to seriously consider improving their warranty process, and making sure management is engaged with unresolved warranty claims.
Taking all of this into consideration, I would not recommend Cody pools. A pool is an exceptionally expensive investment. Customers should be treated consistently from the start of the design process until the end of the warranty.
