North Bay Truck Center

Inefficient and Untrustworthy

North Bay Truck Center has poor quality work, poor customer service, and expensive prices. I've used them maybe three times, just because they're conveniently located, for me, but I will definitely not be returning. They are an unprofessional, unorganized, and unfriendly company. The most recent job I hired them for, they said would take two hours. It took two entire days, and for the first day, the truck stayed parked in front of their store, completely unmoving. Then they charged me $2,000 for something that did not even fix the vehicle's problem; I had to take it to the dealer, and they fixed it, identifying something completely different as the problem, for just $700. In addition to being inefficient and untrustworthy, they are unkind. They have rude, patronizing attitudes and don't try to communicate respectfully with customers, because they're too busy trying to make you feel stupid and like you don't know as much as they do. They're impressively unimpressive and I would definitely not recommend them.

I called and spoke to Ramon who was the customer not Daniel T. Ramon was upset with how we treated him as a customer however he has worked as a driver for 3 different companies since he was at our shop when his complaint originated in July 2015. We repaired a fan clutch where bolts had broken off and had to be extracted and replaced also a wiring harness was damaged which was also repaired, in addition we replaced the serpentine belt and let him know his A/C Condenser was damaged and would need to be replaced. The total repair bill included a road call and a tow. Ramon the individual who wrote the review states that the cruise control did not work when he left with the truck thus additional work had to be done at another shop incurring another $700 in repairs. The service call and tow and repair to fan hub assembly was essential and needed for the customer to be able to drive the tractor again. We were not aware of the cruise control not working when the tractor was towed in nor were we informed of this before or after the repair was completed. For those that read his review please consider my response and the time line Daniel T who is really Ramon wrote this review over 2 years after this incident he described happened. Also the nearly $2,000 repair bill included a road call, a tow to our shop and the repair of broken fan hub studs/bolts that had to be extracted and replaced. Please note these facts. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and will always due our best to address their concerns ASAP, hopefully not over 2 years later.
