Last night (9-11-20) our A/C stopped blowing air.
First thing this morning I called Cool Air USA for service after receiving the Best Pick Reports periodical the day our A/C failed! The reviews for Cool Air was overwhelmingly POSITIVE. So, I took a chance.
The phone was promptly answered by Irvin(?) who was very patient and very pleasant; he was able to set up a mid-morning appointment for me - the SAME DAY! Irvin(?) also explained the service charge (minimal) and their procedures; the technician would contact me when he was en route to my home, which he did.
The technician arrived promptly, well within the time frame given to me for my appointment.
The technician was very pleasant and displayed a positive attitude and crisp appearance.
I answered a few questions my technician asked and he promptly began his troubleshooting of my system. Not being versed in anything electrical, I was very impressed how he worked my ailing A/C system and his technical equipment, coming up with a prognosis (failed blower fan) in short order.
The technician then verified through isolating and testing each component connected to this system to make certain he could repair it correctly. Impressive.
Ultimately it was discovered the blower fan was the weak link and needed replacing; how convenient, the technician had a replacement fan motor in his vehicle! I also requested an updated thermostat which, of course, he had a new compatible one in his vehicle. My day was looking better by the minute!
After repairing my A/C (taking photos of each step - smart) and replacing my thermostat he again THOROUGHLY checked the entire system to make certain it would function properly. And it is.
Overall, I am incredibly positively impressed with every interaction I had with Cool Air USA; a real person answered the phone quickly and assisted me, arranging a SAME DAY service call. The company vehicle was clean, appeared to be well kept and the technician was an excellent representative for Cool Air USA. The courtesy and professionalism demonstrated by this company is absolutely the BEST dealings with ANY other company in my many years of service experience.
